Nice build, Migrant! How did you model the flag on the port interwing struts? It gives the model some life, like it’s sitting on the airfield. Did it fall off during the photo shoot?

Thanks Tim, Eduard supply it as a decal which I applied to a piece of aluminum foil. The photos without the pennant were taken first, before I realized I’d forgotten to add it

I’ve never built a biplane, but this is absolutely beautiful. The whole thing looks like a museum-quality piece, and the finish and detail are immaculate.
I also learned something from your build. I had never thought about putting a decal over aluminum foil to make a flag like that, and your comment about using the same technique for remove-before-flight tags really caught my attention. I build mostly modern aircraft, and I can definitely see myself stealing that idea on a future project.
Beautiful work, and thanks for teaching me a new trick!
