As you know, this kit, by Revell-Monogram, is featured in the current FSM. Problem is, I can’t find it in any of the online shops, not even Squadron[8] Any suggestions for this ol’ jarhead?

Every once in a while Monogram does a repop of the kit, last one was spring 2004. When this happens they run around 20 to 25 bucks. They tend to sell out quickly. Once sold out the price returns to $50.00 to $100.00 or more depending on how badly you want it. I got sooo lucky last time it was reissued. I bought one from GMW and they screwed up and only charged me for shipping.[:O]. Being the honest type I called them and told them of their error and to charge my card. They said no, they screwed up so just let it be and keep the kit for free[:D]. And no, you can’t have mine, not even for 50 or 100 bucks.
Try the website of Stanbridges Hobbies in Perth, Western Australia. I think they have two in stock for A$82.95.

My modeling club (IPMS Roscoe Turner Indianapolis, IN) just had our annual model contest & swap meet, and VMD (maker of Black Box products) displayed their new resin wing set for the Revell-Monogram EA-6B kit during the swap meet. It is bee-oo-tee-FUL!!! I had to buy one ($43), plus I bought the Seemless Suckers intake set to go with it. In addition, VMD will be releasing a new complete resin cockpit set for the EA-6B sometime in early fall of 2005. I can hardly wait. I kinda figured you guys would like to know about that. Also, the Revell-Monogram EA-6B kit can found at many hobby shops here in Indy, so, if you want, I can pick one up for you, SemperFi38, and send it to you if you can’t find it where you’re at. Just let me know.

And BTW, Great Models, eBay, or anyplace else that I’ve tried (and that has been at least 10 different sites) have any either.
Alright, maybe I’m getting senile, but I swear I had checked Great Models before. Anyway, I just checked now and sure enough they are listing them. I ordered one, and will either call or check the status tomorrow to see if it was really in stock and post to the forum.

It was several months ago.When I saw it ,I snapped it up. He can’t order it for you?
Apparantly their distributor is out, because I talked to him about it again today on the phone. If he can get soemthing, he normally tells me about it right away. Milton also sent me the number of someone who might have one. As soon as “24” is over, I’m going to give them a call

I hope you get one. I was lucky and had driven in to Austin from 70miles out just to look around and BAM,there it was.Those guy are pretty cool. They got me some Fox One decals for my B-58 and called me on their dime to let me know they were in. I’ve got to go back soon for some decals. Good Luck[:)]
