I remember building a rather large scale kit of the Jaguar E style as a kid, have always been a great admirer of the style since. I certainly agree, it is a beautiful automobile.
I don’t remember what the kit was, but it was red.

I did too, it might have been Monogram that put it out when the Big T and Big Deuce came along. Not sure actually. 1/8 scale if it’s like the one I built. I don’t remember much of the build except I think it had working front suspension. I remember more of the Deuce, I was a year or two older, painted it black, built it full fendered and put in working lights. And that’s about all I remember of either one . The deuce was impressive but 1/1 and girls were becoming more impressive lol ! No clue how I survived all that except their truly is God .

From what I remember, it was molded in red and that was the final finish on mine…but I’m not positive. I think I messed those big 'ol headlight covers up around the edges by using plastic tube cement.
Might have been red, I may or may not have chanced painting it, not sure. The Deuce I know I did in Testors gloss black spray can, I sort of remember painting it in the basement of my parents house. I recall painting and the finished model but not the build itself. I know I put in working lights because I remember them shining in my room with the lights off in the room.
