e-Hobbyland

Hi everyone,

I recently placed an order for paint and accessory parts for a target I’d like to build (every once in a while I like to change the pace of props and jets for wheels and treads) with e-Hobbyland. I’ve ordered from them many times with no issues. It has been a couple of weeks, more than enough time for a delivery to have arrived, so today I get home from work, no shipment, so I go to check the status via the link they sent.

At top of the status it said the order had been cancelled. Checking their web site, there is a notice that orders are not being accepted (which was not the case when I placed the order). So I sent an email and am hoping to get a response back, although I’m kinda doubtful since I first called their 1-800 # and got a recording that they were currently closed and their hours were until 6:30 PM EST. I placed the call at 4:30 PM CST, an hour before their reported closing time.

Has any one who has ordered from them heard anything regarding their business status?

(Giving them a couple of days to respond before I determine whether to take my business elsewhere)

There could be some kind of family emergency, sickness or God forbid a death in the family.

I’ve had good service for 10 years with Doug and Wendy at Hobbyland. Hope for the sake of the owners and the hobby that the economy hasn’t taken another hobby retailer down.

Hope you get it worked out

have they taken your money yet? if not, no harm done. could be just a family emergency. Or they might be having to close the doors for a while. not sure why they would do it without warning though

I ordered a few times from them in the past, though not in the past couple of years. Hope you get it sorted out soon Steven!

a few months ago they said the economy was effecting them.what a shame now we have to deal with overpriced stuff from other places although squadron has some good bargains maybe thay are realizing hobbyland cuastomers are coming abck to them…

I went to ehobbyland a couple weeks ago there site was gone blank screen is this also accoseated with the Hobbyland stores at Mishawauka and Ft.Wayne Indiana I’m only 60 miles from them? ACESES5

I too was puzzeled by the E-hobbyland website being off the air. I keep checking back every now and than to see if they’re back p and running. I have always had good customer service with those folks for the past several years with no complaints. Also loved their sale prices too! hopefully they will be back in business soon.
