Dspiae circle cutters

Has anyone used a Dspiae circle cutter? How well do they work, and how is the quality of the devise?

I dunno about the circle cutter but their little disk sander works GREAT. I may have to check into one of these because I was just thinking about a circle cutter the other day for an upcoming project.

Their tools are top notch in quality and are worth the price .
The circle cutter works almost flawlessly .

Don’t have one but I have never seen a negative post about them from folks that do own one.

I have one. It’s a very solid piece of gear and cuts beautifully. I would suggest also getting the center-finding tool with it,

Doesn’t it make a small hole in the center?

Yes, but say you’re trying to cut a round decal out of a home-made sheet. You need the center finder to make sure you’re cutting in the right place.

I have one and it works great. I’ve used it for cutting decals, and tape making paint masks for wheel hubs, etc. just spend some time doing some practice cuts until you get the feel for the tool and it will work well for you.

I’ve owned and used the original Shadowhobby Thinnerline circle cutter for about three years and recently got myself a Dspiae PT-C model circle cutter. They are nearly identical, and both are high quality precision tools which do an excellent job cutting circles. Yes. Get the center finder…makes it easy to cut your circle in the right place. Your maximum circle will have a 50mm radius which is plenty big for most of the models you’ll ever build. And no, it doesn’t punch a center hole.
