Dragon's T34/76 - What an instruction sheet!

The last time I got a Dragon kit was more than 10 years ago - The Iraqi T-72 of the Republican Guard from Gulf War I. I just got the T-34/76 (model 1940) today as an early Valentine’s gift [:I] and I was amazed to see a full color photographic layout of the assembly for the kit! Not black and white diagrams or even black and white photos but full color photos on quality glossy paper!

Yeah it is really cool. I recently got the Panther D and as surprised to see the colored instructions. I am just wondering though why the VC Firefly did not come with colored instructions.

It’s too bad other manufacturers don’t follow Dragon’s example and come out with better instructions. Tamiya has good instruction sheets, but I have had issues with RoG, Italeri, Eastern Express and AFV Club.

that’s nice! how come my M1A1 iraqi freedom is not in full color?
but i think if it’s in full color, wouldn’t that be quite confusing for the small parts? on where to place them? good luck Aurora! Happy Valentine’s Day! [:D]

I don’t like those new fangled colour instructions, seen them now used by a few companies.
They are supposed to be superior and making figuring where each part goes easier.

Give me the old line diagrams, I have been used to for 30+yrs any day and keep those new ones.
[:D][:D]

I guess it boils down to opinion. I haven’t built my Panther A yet, but I thought the color instructions were neat. I may change my mind as I build.

Gonna hang mine on the wall when I’m done!
Sure is pretty!
