Dragon Wagon Trailer Progress Pics

Well as promised … here is the Tamiya Dragon Wagon Trailer after the build. This beast is big when she’s attached to the cab. Build, much like the cab was straight forward with no hitches. For the load on this one I’ve chosen a kit that I started sometime ago, Italeri’s M36 B1.

All the stages are now built and she’s all ready for her first trip to the spray booth, unfortunately I have another project that is going to get in the way until months end so I’m afraid the DW will be parked for a couple of weeks.

All comments and critiques welcome as always.

That is one nice looking project you have there Sherm, I really like how it’s turning out.

A+

What can I say, you are a BEAST Sherm!!! It’s looking good, keep up the good work, and I will be waiting for those pics!!

It’s looking ok I guess…[:D] [;)]

You know I gushed over it yesterday when you showed me previews. Looking great and awesome!! [:D] That’s going to be a showcase in its own right.

Eric

Very, very nice, Sherm. You always deliver! Keep it coming.[:D][:D][:D]

Loking great. This is gonna be a beauty.

Robert, I know this is supposed to be a real nice kit, but associated with your skills and experience, it’s going to be a show-stopper, no doubt! The M36 looks nice too! What was wrong with the kit drive sprocket’ teeth? And what is that other project??? I’m curious!

Everything is looking great! I just have one question:
How did you build it as quickly as you did? I mean, this is a pretty involved kit. How did you pull it off? It would take me 6 months to build the thing!

Great job S.F., looks Good,

It just needs more guns for a model that big.

Thank you all for your most kind comments.

Mr.Tamiya’s crew of engineers deserve a lot of credit in this build … it really is a work of engineering the way this kit fits together. Precision at its best. [:D][:D]

Gip - I’ve had the last couple of weeks off from work, no kids at home, wife’s at work every day, and finally, I really don’t have a life [;)] . Which all adds up to lots of modelling time.

Domi - The M36 B1 is a kit that I started some time ago and never completed. So now is its time. There is nothing wrong with the teeth on the drive sprocket, it’s just where I left off in the build. Start of the weathering technique. As far as the other project goes, I can’t / won’t say much at this point in time but watch for it around the month’s end. I guarantee you’ll like it. [;)]

Thanks again all and I’ll keep you posted when I get back at.

great job Robert, looking good and big

looking good Robert. Nice and clean so far. I got my eye on this one. Cheers

Shermanfreak, Nice an clean build up. I built this on myself recently but have stalled out in the painting process. You have sparked me to jump back on it when I return home. It is a great kit ain’t it.

Can’t wait to see it all painted…

Kenneth

Jon - I just don’t think I could get that past my wife … I better stick with the 1/35 version.

Dave - I’ll try to finish her up real good when I get back at her in a couple of weeks.

Kenneth - I’m glad I gave you a little spark … you’re right … this is one great kit.

I’ll keep you all posted !

Classy build, Robert. You’ve built it alot faster than I ever could. Must be nice to have all that time! I’ll have to see if I can send the wife away for a few days, then maybe I could actually get some work done!

Sherm, Very nice.
Can’t wait to see more, but what I really want to see is more pictures of the M-36. I built one and want to see if you can do your as good as mine [:D]

Its coming along very nicely.

Keep us posted with more pics

Oh, almost finished. Can’t wait till the paint and weathering is on. Just wonderful job, Sherm.

…And the natives start to get restless, chants of “We want paint” can be heard, coming from the forum[;)]

It is coming along very nicely Robert. This is a super clean build so far. Bravo
