Jason I tried a new technique that worked great on the louvers on the back deck. I finished the M60A1 and masked off the rear deck louvers and sprayed them black, making sure the grouves were completely black. Then I removed the masking and sprayed the tanks base color at an angle so that the top of the louvers were completety painted but the bottom bairly had any color. This made a perfect fade into shadows in the louvers. Cheers, Greg.

Thanks Greg. I noticed a similiar effect on the back deck of the Sherman when I painted it. Like a no-wash wash
