Thanks, Jason. Interesting review
I was going to wait for this version, but Greatmodels had the 40% off sale on the Henschel version. Less bucks, means more kits. [:D]
there were a few Tiger 2s that had the new tracks in the Bulge and they had Zimmeret on them (from what ive heared)
when he was on about Drivers i thought there was a crew in the box
thanks for the link
oh yeah, there is a propper Late Kingtiger coming out ,
THAT’S the one I want!
Thanks fro the link!
Jason,
Thanks for the link buddy, very interesting review. I personally think that Dragon is giving the boys at Tamiya a run for thier money, these added features on these limited edition kits are just fantastic in my opinion. The Dragon molds are very detailed, and I will buy thier armor kits 'til the cows come home. How can one not see the value that is added in a kit like this, priced right, and fills a niche for all of us who are looking for something a little different?
Rock on Dragon and long live “Der Konig”!

Yep, I am definitely going to buy a new Dragon kit over any other. Why wouldn’t I when I get all the AM goodies included for less that a plain Tamiya kit?
Thanks for the link. I need a king kitty, and this baby might just fit in.
I am working on the Tamiya one now, which is real nice, but now I want one of these babies too
Had this one on my GM wish list, but I took it off because I was afraid I might pull the trigger and cause my own WW II here on the home front!!

If you ask me, Dragon is blowing Tamiya out of the water. Dragon ran Tamiya out of the 1/35 scale. They offer more for less and Tamiya just couldn’t compete.
I agree with that completely. We could all benefit if Tamiya would wake up, reduce prices and add value, too
What Dragon’s next big project should be is to hire away some of Tamiya’s instruction sheet designers/editors. Wouldn’t THAT be great.
Hey Bill!
You really hit the nail on the head with the instructions comment! If I had one complaint, that would be it. The new “digitally enhanced” instructions sheets still don’t cut it, especially for junior modelers.

Or maybe the direction writers could stop sniffing glue before the begin to write…
