Hey does anybody know when they are going to release this kit? The one I’m asking about is the late production kit 6253. I’ve seen pre orders on GM but I was just wondering if anybody knew
There’s no definite date out there but should be in the next few months…althoug GM has been known to have stuff on “pre-order” status for a long time…I still have a pre-order from June 2004 for a Pz III E/F that hasn’t yet materialized. [(-D]
You must mean re-release. It’s been out for some time, probably over a year. If you can’t wait, you can flip over to ebay and pay the jacked-up prices.
Yeah, I saw one on ebay for $90!![:O] I’m so glad I bought mine back in June even though I won’t be building it for a couple of months!! lol [swg]
Its a really nice kit though and I want another…don’t wait too long Dragon!
Yeah I guess I do. Theres one on ebay going for 70 bucks. I’ll wait till it comes out again
According to Dragon, it will be re-released in June (so in the US by July) as as more standard kit with a lot less photoetch and metal parts. Which is fine in my opinion, and while I do applaud Dragon for their efforts, the PE in 6253 is not very good - very bad tool clasps, innacurate skirt armor, fender parts with the fold lines on the wrong side, etc. I’ll be doing it again once it’s re-released, but with Voyager PE and hopefully much more accurate results.
wow… at the show yesterday there was a vendor who was going to sell me the Late tiger 3n1 for 40 bucks, but I had spent my money elsewhere… it wasn’t wrapped but it was all there!!! 90 bucks for a tiger model? Wow I don’t need one that bad!
I am so happy i picked mine up for $28. [:D]

Hermes, I’m glad you responded. Thanks for the heads-up on the kit PE!
