Dragon 234/4 painting question

I’m about 1/3 of the way through this kit and am finding it one of the most enjoyable builds I’ve ever done. The detail is excellent and the fit, so far, is perfect. The suspension alone is almost a kit in and of itself. I like it so much I bought the 234/2 today, hoping that it’s the same quality.

Since the interior of this vehicle is exposed, and since Dragon seen fit to supply a good bit of widgets to fill the space, I need some advice on painting. From the limited pictures I have found, it looks like the interior was painted the base color, which in my case will be dark yellow. But what about the seats, transmission, gear shifters, map cases (I think that’s what they are), steering wheels, etc.? Would they also have been the base color or something else?

Thank you Markus. That is an excellent looking build. Did you scratchbuild the battery? And where did you get the fugures, mess kits and maps? They really make the interior stand out. From looking at my model, I thought the seats were positioned too far from the pedals, but looking at yours with the figure makes me feel a lot better.
