This is my 1st helicopter in 1/72 and it’s a must for my Apollo collection.
Kit did not come with any figures so I used all my spare ones in this build
I feel the kit is not complete without figures to make a working diorama. However they include a plexiglass base which I really like.

Great model project…and a great moment! (I’m old enough to remember it as though it were yesterday. Though…in truth…I don’t remember yesterday all that well…[:D])
One correction. The rotor droop is appropriate for the helicopter on the ground with no load on the blades. In flight the blades curve in the opposite direction with the tips higher than the blade at the hub.

If the blades are bending up the pilot better increase the rotor rpm before something really bad happpens.[:'(] The blades should be dead straight and “coned” up slightly.
Is that true for both advancing and retreating blades?
