I was sure I had posted this on here somewhere, but can’t seem to find the post, so here I go again.
I had a friend print this up last year for me, with the plan of having it all painted up for my wife by Mother’s Day 2025. It’s a pretty decent rendition of the priest she played in World of Warcraft many years ago.
It didn’t have a tail and I didn’t realize that until after printing, so out came the styrene rod, tube and strip to scratch one up. Here it is with tail, primer and base coat of purple to start.
As you may have noticed, it’s now approaching Mother’s Day 2026…..this is where it stands at this moment.
I am far from any kind of halfway decent miniature painter, though I do have great aspirations and dreams in this regard. I had initially planned to try Non Metallic Metals on all the gold armour areas, but I basically panicked at the start and went with metallic gold instead. I did try a bit of jeweling on the gems, pretty happy with that result.
Still have a ways to go on it and not too sure how I’m going to finish the base. At least I’ve got a semi realistic chance of getting this one done this year.
