I purchased a 1/35 Panda Huey kit at a show only to realize the front canopy is cracked , so I want to do a crashed Huey in Vietnam Dio in memory of the brave boys who flew in these things. Does anyone have any good photos of a down Huey or any ideas for this dio?
Check THIS thread I started a few years ago on ARC. It should give you a few ideas. If you have some specifics you are looking for in a crash I might be bale to help as well. I would also recommend Bent and Battered Rotors by Wayne Mutza. It’s a great ref and inexpensive as well. HTH
I think it was in Flight Journal several years ago, but there was an article about a Huey losing the main rotor and crashing upside down. You could model the investigator looking into the crash and scratching his head as to what caused the rotor failure.
