Dornier Do 335A-1, Zerstorergeschwader 1 "Wespen" in Russia, 1947 (Tamiya 1/48)

Decals added! The wasp is a tad big, would have worked had it been in 1/144, though I only had it in 72nd. The straight borders of the wings have been extended in a messy way to give the wing crosses their full size. Now I’l wait for the decals to set before I add the matt coat.

No swastikas, the model will be shown on Youtube.

Wheels on! The bomb racks should have gone nearer the leading edge, the bombs as placed almost touch the ailerons.

I love the Do-335 and want to build one so SO bad. I’ve got one in the stash and have a LOT of aftermarket items to go with it and your build here is a great inspiration to me to drag it out and start on it.
I like the idea of the winter camo scheme and was wondering what paints you used for this one.

Thanks! You DEFINITELY have to build it, it’s a great model. I used Revell Aqua paints, water based acrylics, which dry fast.
