Hey SsgtD if you havent been there make sure u bring plenty of cold weather gear…It gets cold like overnight at the end of October / early November. Its like there is no Fall there it just goes from summer heat to freezing cold. I spent half my deployment in the heat and half freezing my N#@%s off. The best gear I got my hands on was Underarmor. I used the heat gear in summer and the cold gear in the winter…It was worth its weight in gold. Let me know if u want to know what to bring and what not to. Good Luck!
Yep, I know. it sucks. We just got all the new chit. I do not like flying at night in the cold, we have to stay on the gun and it is F-ing cold. I may grab the 240 and stay on the ramp this time, next to the Engs .
