This figure was purchased ‘under the tables’ at a show. It was probably a re-cast of a Dolman Miniatures 75mm Pin-up girl as later inspection revealed a double set of mould lines. The fit of the parts, legs to bust in particular, was poor, probably a result of poor casting practices. Much Milliput went into resculpting the joints areas. The bomb and stand were recreated from scratch. I’m not a figure modeller, just enjoying a figure or bust time to time for a change etween what I’d call more complicated and long-lasting projects. Most of the painting is done with enamels over a white acrylic base coat, and oil paints for depth and highlights.
Nice job. Would be fun to do a bomber model with that as a custom decal for the nose art.
Thanks, Keavdog. She’s got a nice figure. She might have been sculpted from a nose art?
