Newbee question for you guys. Are the Dragon Smart tracks workable? If not workable, can you “snap” them together, put them on the model to get your shape and then glue them together?.. or are they simply individual track lengths that must be glued together and then shaped to the model before they dry?
Some “click” together, but generally they are a friction fit, much like conventional indy links. Use the same basic techniques to put them together as you would the conventional indys.
What they call Magic tracks are simply individual track links that require virtually no cleaning cause they’re not attach to sprue three. But they are not clickable nor workable.
the kits i have with the magic tracks have jigs or formers to shape the tracks.you can assemble them in lengths and use liquid cement on them,it works real well.after they are cemented just make sure they are straight.after a short drying time you should be able to slide them in place and coax them to shape before they dry.
They worked great. I was working the Dragon JagdTiger and even with the long lenght I was able to shape them and they look very nice. thanks for everyone’s help.
