It is amazing. I think that high pressure combined with the double action control of the air/paint mix is the key. Lubing the needle on the 360 is a must as well.

Looks good crockett. One thing I noticed but I may be mistaken but the side decal seem a bit silvered. Or is it my eyes. Regardless its a great job, Camo looks great.

I figured out the same thing, only after this latest build when I was just fooling around with my 360 blowing off some paint before cleaning it. I’ll be ready to go on the next German AFV I build
Steve
Great build. I have been thinking about getting this kit. After seeing your build it is a must. I already have the 3 in 1 251 with IR equipment.
great stuff man! That was what I was planning on doing when I finish the DML Tiger I Init. The only thing I’m liking so far about the magic tracks for them is the fact that you don’t have to cut them off the sprue, that was tedious, and losing the bits was more than annoying! Once I’m done that, I want to do something different, but still German… and you’ve spurred me on to do the “Drilling”. Thanks for sharing your work, and hopefully, once I get my Tiger done, better yet, a working digi-cam, I’ll send in some pics of my Captured T-34/76 and my Spzabt 505 King Tiger. Awsome stuff…
Very nice build, I like the Camo

Great job on the build.
Steve,
Great build and as always fantastic camouflage job. When I see your camouflage jobs, I don’t know whether to start building another German AFV (hoping for similar results) or just throw mine out (from frustration in not being able to duplicate your work) [%-)]
Joe
Outstanding work, the camo is excellent as is the build.

Very nice one.
I got the kit as a birthday gift. When I openned the box I was shocked to see all that stuff. I hope someday to do a camo pattern as good as yours. I’m so happy to see what can be done with that kit.
It is a great looking build, a pleasure to see.
?.. Why is it called a “Drilling”…Kenny
Kenny,
Its because it has three guns. One gun=Einling, two guns=Zwilling, three guns=Drilling and so forth.
Steve
Thanks for the info, Did the germans give it this name?. I’m puzzled because the “Wirblewind” was not called any thing else and that had 4 guns!..Kenny
These are German terms, I’m not sure about the Wurblewind thing, but I do know that the armament was also known as the Flak Vierling (quad flak mount). Maybe the terms just had to do with halftracks? Sorry I can’t be much more help, but I’m far from an expert. Maybe if you posted your very good question on the forum, some of our historical whiz kids will give the right answer.
Regards,
Steve
