hi john,if i think you mean a jig for building your indy’s so they are in a straight line , i just put two pieces of wood about 30cm in lenght together in a 90° angle (glue and nailed them) that’s all i guess . when making your pieces of track (work in 5 links at the time) just follow your upright piece of wood so they are straight.
i just taped a ruler to a piece of glass for my Panther indy’s.
nothing fancy.
I use a meter/yard stick and assemble the tracks in sections similar to the methods mentioned above. Set the meter/yard stick on my work desk surface and go from there. A straightedge is really all you need for German tracks, Allied tracks might be a little trickier but still manageable.

i use a glass base so i don’t glue the links to my bench!
