my money’s on the Russki’s. The Ppsh had a faster rate of fire than the MP40 and the russians have two of them .

You just gotta love when they start playing “Hot Potato” with live RG-42s and Potato mashers.
Still, the Soviets have the advantage of 2 PPSH SMGs, and 1 rifleman with a bayonet. So the bayonet +144 rounds of hot led spraying over the field is a definate advantage. Especially since the Germans only have 1 MP-40 and 2 bolt-action Kar K-98K rifles. No contest, Russains win.
But, then again, the Germans would probably win, if they had the policy of “Lob grenades first, ask survivors later” for the scene.
Just like that scene in “The Big Red One”…

Thanks for all comments concerning the scene. Those who bet on the Russians have a better chance. We all know that at the end of the day the Russians won.
