Comments and suggestions are welcome!

Nice layout and theme for the diorama Model Maniac, I see credit has been given to Art Instructor as I understand you promote others work as well. Three items that I would do different are as follows:

#1 The airbrushed camo should have more defined shapes vrs random blotches. The soft edges bleed into each other more than they should.

#2 The road wheels look like they need some of the hull colors as it appears like they belong on a straight desert yellow vehicle.

#3 More restraint on the blackened muzzle brake, black in the bore faded to grey is more realistic.

Take this as constructive as I am not trying to ‘rivet count’ the other wise great build. The placement of figures and painting of them is excellent, very realistic and convincing. [Y][H]

Thanks so much for your kind comments and suggestions, SuppressionFire! They’re really constructive. I’ll pass on only #2 and #3 to AI because I myself don’t get the #1. Thanks again.

No problem buddy!

What I mean by comment #1 is the colors are to ‘soft’ without defined shapes or edges. I realize many German tank crews sprayed their vehicles in the field, some very quickly yet most have a defined pattern or theme. A full size spray gun will only have about 2 or 3 inches of fade between colors. Basically the edges have to be ‘crisper’ in scale. Try spraying through paper masks held a few mm away from the surface, only use each once or wait for the paint on it to dry.As always spray lighter colors first, darkest last.

Best example I have. 1/72 Panzer IV chassis. Even here the paper mask was to far from the surface, being where it is weathering sorted it our later on. Spray is OOC (out of can) hence the large blotches on the ‘masks’
