I have seen pictures of peoples dioramas and have no idea where to look for these kits. If anybody knows of good websites to purchase diorama kits or suggestions on how to build them from scratch, please, feel free to share. Thanks again.
I have never seen a good diorama come in a complete “kit” form…you usually have to buy several components from several different sources…perhaps the building from Custom Dioramics, the figures from Alpine, and the vehicles from DML…try browsing though the following websites: Great Models and Squadron Mail Order…
There have been a few diorama in a box kits, but most have had a decent armor kit and weak scenery. Matchbox made some pretty decent ones in 1/76 back inthe late '70’s.
Most of what you see are single armor kits with added figures and either scratchbuilt or commercial buildings and a wide range of groundwork products, some from the back yard and some from the hobby or craft shop.
Go to armorama dot com and look through the features there. There are quite a few detailing all types of scenic effects.
Or do you mean the kits in the dio?

Actually, Im just looking for the actuall diorama, like a garage or showroom for example. I have found a number of websites that sell accessories for the dioramas, just not dioramas themselves.
So you are looking to buy already built dios? I was just looking over another armor website and it seems that there is a manufactuer who is now selling some individual parts that you can use to put together a dio.

Try posting in the automotive section and be specific in the title “Looking for kits of garages and showrooms.” They might give you a better lead. Most of wht gets posted in this section is related to armor and figures.
for the 1/24th scale I do believe that you can buy a Garage scene or pit row {Tamiya?}
for armor, there are some kits for walls and streets and woodland Scenics makes several “practice” scenes for railroads that could be used for armor. these are more a pile of goodies and instructions on how to do their various products.
AOII made several Owners Diorma Series in 1/32 scale using various vehicles. Though to be fair it’s more of vignette than full blown diorama-in-the-box… They also did Macross Battelfield diorama kits though not sure what was the scale… Plus from memory there were Memorial Showa diorama series at 1/32.
Fujimi made several 1/76 diorama kits though the quality varies… And if I’m not mistaken Fujimi made those 1/24 scale auto garage diorama kits~?
