I mainly do aircraft modeling, and I am about to aska a REALLY stupid question. Aircraft models are always easy when it comes to finding the final kit’s dimensions, armor, not so much. I am considering getting the kit mentioned in the title of this post (kit #6319), but I want to make a diorama with it from Konigsberg, 1945, and I have a base kit for it already. My problem is, I don’t know if it will fit. I am using the Miniart kit 36001, a small street section, and I just want to know if the finished T-34 will fit. Any other info on the dimensions, a link to a site that may help me in the future with this problem, or any input on this model as well is completely welcome. Thanks!
I don’t have the kit you mention, but a 1/35 scale t-34 85 should be about 3.5 inches wide, 6.8 inches long without the gun, 9.25 inches long with the gun over the front and 3.25 inches tall. All measurements were taken unscientifically and are approximations.
G’day
I have one sitting here, i’ll dig up a tape, and give it a mesure for you in the Morning
Thanks! I’ll post some WIP pics as I get to it, though it won’t arrive for a while, and I may not get to it for a couple months…
Sorry mate, i’ve been crook as a dog all week.
Here’s the mesurments if you still need them
Length: 175mm, 230mm including Barrel
Width: 90mm
Hight: 65mm
Those are approximate, but they will be close ![]()
