This is a different sort of modeling that we discuss on this site. But I thought it was pretty amazing and thought I share with the rest.
Wow! Terrific stuff-much better than the 3D computer renderings in helping grasp the feel of a design. I think they could all use some weathering and battle damage, though!
Hey, a model is a model, Right?
Sharp stuff!
those architectural models always are amazing.
Very interesting stuff thanks for the heads up.
Those are awesome, but I noticed that most of 'em aren’t all that different form what everyone does here…especially the dio group!!
Yes … we pay big bucks for those models at work …
but they always seem to get outsourced, never landing on my desk!
Rats,
Bruce
Those are great! The only problem is I know they were built by the same people (or people like them) who were in the School of Engineering when I was in college. Them folks were just plain weird. Not at all like the fine young herrenvolk attending the School of Liberal arts.

maybe that’s what I should do, build architectural models for a living!! that way all my trips to the LHS are a business expense. actually, up here architecture is hard to get into. I know a guy who went to school for architecture and couldn’t find a job when he came out of school, now hes a parts person at one of the local ag dealers.
Nice work…

Cool stuff. My son used to build many neat things out of Legos that I suggested that he become an architect some day. The idea did intrigue him.
[oX)][yeah]All you need are some battle damage, a few tanks, artillery, troops, A/C and some off-shore warships–just like downtown Bagdad![:-,][}:)]
Seriously, the boat, auto and trolly models were outstanding![^]

I wish I had the scratchbuilding skills of some of those modelers. Thanks for the website!
