did i make a mistake in getting a aztek airbrush ?

i just got back into modeling and being disabled from a work accident.the first thing i bought was a airbrush and compressor.but after reading some posts about airbrush’s did i make a mistake in getting a aztek model A4709.i bought it before i found this site.also does anyone use this model and what do you think of it.thanks everyone your a great bunch of people on here Tom

It’s a great tool Tom. Do not worry. Cleaning the airbrush is not as simple as they say in the ads, but not difficult nor very time consuming. Read previous messages about those Aztecs airbrushes, and you’ll find out how to dissasemble the bits and clean them real good.

thanks Domi,i guess everyone has there own preference in a airbrush i just wanted to make sure i didn’t buy a peice of junk Tom

It’s tough to go wrong unless you are a super-professional and are really looking for some specific features in an airbrush. The Aztek is a good tool and like any other tool (or airbrush) just requires patience and practice.

I use an aztec airbrush and have never had any trouble. They are robust and if looked after will last a long time.

I have found many really like it. Brett green uses it exclusively. look at his work on line.
