Did a quick test of the Omni 4000 spray pattern

Someone over on the ARC forum wanted to know what the Omni could do in terms of thick to thin lines and so I did this quick test for them.
I thought you guys may be interested too out of curiosity. [;)]

I just did the test below on a pellon practice sheet that is used for T-shirt airbrushing practice. I used Model Master Acryl at 20 psi through my Omni 4000. The smallest line was with the needle almost touching the surface and the thicker line was with the trigger all the way back at about 3" from the surface.
This gives you an idea as to what the Omni 4000 spray pattern is capable of.

excellent. i like my omni![8D]

Damn, I can’t wait for my Omni 5000!!! Those damn dixie art boys have been jerking me for three weeks now…I should’ve just went up to Anaheim!!

Is it just me or has Dixie slowed down on their mailing to customers? The last two orders I had through Dixie took about two weeks to get to me. I suppose the free mailing that Dixie gives for $XX amount does not mean quick mailing.

I sent them an email enquiry and got an answer back about 3 weeks later, by which time somebody else had answered my questions and received my money in exchange for my new airbrush.

Cheers…Snowy.

I think that is true. If you guys want any Badger products in the future shoot me an email.
I can get a good deal on them for you and I know the customer service will be top rate. [;)]

My Girlfriend ordered it for me about 3 weeks ago, and when we called them on fri, the guy acted like a jerk, and said it was directly shipped from the factory in Chicago…It’s now Tuesday, and once again, I still have NO airbrush!!! They won’t give up a tracking number at all, and yet they took the money out of the bank immediately!!! Is it worth it to cancel the order, or do you think I’m in too deep, and just need to hound 'em relentlessly?!

when i order, i usually order on monday night. i have my order on thursday like clock work. the last shipment however, made wednesday of the following week. i emailed them on monday and got a reply the next day but it didnt help explain anything. it may be the holiday backlash thing guys. some, if not most, buisinesses take an inventory of merchandise at the beginning of the year to freshin things up. they stop stocking common items in hopes to “run out” before inventory, thus saving much money on payroll. i build houses for a living and have learned (the hard way [nothing like waiting three weeks for countertops for a kitchen before you can finish the house])to order all the things i need to last me through to about the 10th of the new year. this probably wont cool your jets much. but thats my [2c].

It seems a few people have had this problem lately.
I guess with free shipping you get it when they decide to send it out. [:D]
