I am working on the Revell Cutty Sark 1:96 and have test-fitted the deck into the hull. I think I can close most small gaps by clamping the hull and cementing the edges of the deck, but there are larger gaps around an edge of the stern. Have you had similar issues, and did you just putty to fill the gaps? How do I get a nice transition from hull to deck.

Have you considered a thin piece of flexible styrene to fill the gap and then sand smooth?

Evergreen is the other major brand of styrene stock. If you have a hobby shop near year, whether it focuses on scale models or if it caters to the model railroaders, it my carry either brand,
Plastruct also has its own liquid styrene cements, that are decent productions.
