The new Trumpeter ship models list Gunze deck blue #H-365. Now ,I’m a great fan of Gunze paints ,and none of my suppliers even list that color . Does it really exist or is it just a mirage ? I’d really like to try it as I’ve yet to find a satisfactory deck blue acrylic. Polly S has it and the hue seems to be close ,but I’ve tried two bottles of it and it’s best trick seems to be clogging up my airbrush no matter how much I thin it. , so I’m still looking. [:(]

White Ensign Colors are VERY VERY accurate. I suggest that you get some of theirs. Only thing you have to be concerned with their paint is to shake them very well, and then to stir them wall also.
As to that portion of your post dealing with the acrylics clogging in the airbrush… I too had that problem with those paints until I stopped trying to thin it with thinner, anybody’s thinner including the paint manufacturer, and started using just plain tap water. No more clogging after that. You might also try pouring the paint through a fine screen from the paint bottle to your spray bottle as you may not be mixing all of the pigment.
