Does anyone know where i get the chevy race stripes decals.I mean the kind that came on the 60’s camaros and early 70’s chevelle.I have looked around and just cant find them.I have looked a Fred caddy’s and Slixxs decals. I am currently working on a 70 velle and a 68 maro, just gonna need the stripes.Thx for any help.
Hey rabid, try the model car garage, or decals unlimited they both have ads in this months(oct. issue) scale auto mag. the decals should also be in any kit of the 1970 chevelle as i have one on my shelf , built box stock with the factory stripes included in the kit. hope this helps.

You might try a guy by the name of Keith Marks. He does not sell on a website, but you can get his stuff on e-bay under the id kmarks999. Here is a link to his fotki album so you can get an idea of what he has to offer:

Thx all for the help.I have the kits but they only have the white stripes and im wanting the black 1’s,All my Ford models are pretty much with the white skunk stripes and would like more of a variety. The ford stripes are easy I just paint them on but Chevy’s have that small pinstriping with the stripes,im guessing that would be alil rough to paint the Chevy style.Thx again I never thought of checking MCG.
there was an article in scale auto a while back i remember reading about how to do the fine pin stripe around those bigger ss stripes look and see if you can find the issue it may be of some help. sorry but i dont remember what one it was.
Thx,Ill give it a look.I like the painted on 1’s much better.I just finished a 67 fastback that i converted into a 67 shelby gt 500,came out really nice.I painted it a True Blue Pearl with White skunk stripes, looks good.I had to prefab the hood scoop, side scoops, and had to build up a rear spoiler of wich took some time, the only real challenge was trying to find a way for the tail lights, but found that the rear tails from a 69 maro turned upside down and reversed the sides they went on worked out nicely, may not be exact scale but they are pretty convincing.but anyways thx all again for the help…I have found what I was looking for.
cool beans man, post up some pics when you get em done, would like to see.
