All my Hasegawa kits’ decals have yellow tinted whites.
Is the best way to remove the yellow tint to expose the decals to sunlight? How long may it take? Will it adversely effect other colors? Or, is my best recourse to buy after market decals?
I know this question has been asked and answered before but I forgot the answer.
Personally, I’d go with Aftermarket.

Don’t know if it’s the BEST way, but it’s the only way I ever heard of… As for how long, that depends on how intense and how long your sunlight exposure is per day. Shouldn’t take long in a South or West-facing window though, just a few days…
Will it affect other colors? Sure… Fading is fading, but the degree will be up to the amount and intensity exposure again… The yellowing will likely fade faster than the regular ink colors by a long shot though, so you should be back to white before it’s an issue…
As for buying AM decals, I never propose that, unless the ones you have are beyond any chance of saving (Although it’s certainly a good excuse to tell the wife, why you suddenly have to go to the LHS or make a quick on-line buy. Me? I’m just cheap…).
Be sure to keep them flat though. If you just tack them up there with one piece of tape in the middle, any humidity or condensation could cause the sheet to curl up (which may cause the decals to crack when you go to straighten out the sheet for cutting), or worse, cause decals to stick to the glass… Best put them in a zip-lock or some similar clear baggie first, than tape the corners of the bag flat against the glass with another strip going across the middle…
