DECAL REMOVAL HELP/QUESTION ?

Does ANYONE Know a Quick TIP / Technique to remove large Decals?

I have applied Lozenge Pattern Decal with Mirco SOl and Mirco Set. I am embarrassed by the Bright Lime green and Orange color to them. I receivced a set of AMERICAL four COLOR Lozenge Dcals and they are obviously seem much more accucate for a WAR machince and not the Circus like Kit Dcals I used.

I have NOT sealed them with Future yet. I just finished applying them and they are well Fixed and Dried. HOW TO REMOVE THEM ? (EASILY ? )

I have Acetone ? More Miro SOl ? Soak them in Soapy Water ? Enamle Paint thinner ? Goo Gone ? Help ???

Try Scotch tape. It works for me.

Don’t see why you couldn’t just decal over the current decals if they are set well ??

You can put on more Micro Sol/vinegar, this will soften the decals and then you can remove them.

  1. Decaling over them A) It would interfere with the color of the Pattern on Top. It is best to put them over a Lt Grey Primer coat to get there true color. B) It would be too thick and the seams where I had to patch together the original Decals would show thru.

  2. Is Mirco SOl Made with Vinegar? I thought it had a Photo Developer typr of smell to it. Vaugely familar? SO SOAK them in Vinegar and Peel them off?
