Dear Mr. Shermanfreak (and Sherman fans)

Hey Shermanfreak (and all Sherman Fans), have you seen this site?

http://homepage1.nifty.com/lefthand/ShermanCon/0321_1.html

It’s a Sherman contest held my local modeling club, Naniwa Sensha-tai, at my favorite shop, Mammut, a mere 10-minute walk from my house.
Life is good!

Hmmm…now that I’ve written this, it’s seems like I have seen this posted already…apologies if this is old news!

Ya know even if it was posted before thank you again…i am looking over the models there and well WOW!!

Thanks man!

I’m with Horus. Good link, Nice pics!!

Eric

Mr. Shermanfreak … LOL

Thanks Brian for the link … some great pieces in there.

Who said the Sherman isn’t an interesting subject.

good site i do like the E75 on there [:D]
some of the green things are ok[8D]

That’s it! time to pull out my 1/72 scale M4 “Easy-8” and start building! This is too much to wait any longer!

How do you say “holy sh#t” in Mandarin?

Great site.

I really like the Sherman wading ashore and the 105 howitzer in the snow

The one coming ashore was GREAT, I would like to do water like that.

I have that Italeri kit (in the box) with the US Marines Coming ashore. I guess now I know what the model is supposed to look like. I have some great ideas for a beach landing (after I finish my German armor stint)

I’m glad ya’ll appreciate it!

I don’t know about Mandarin, but in Japanese it’d be something like “su, sugoi!!” (note stuttering effect emphasizing the “holy %#&” factor.)

My only regret is that my Dragon M4A3E8 JGSDF Sherman didn’t make the show in time. It was finished and ready to go, but they held the contest on a Friday afternoon! I thought it was on Saturday! So I brought it in Friday night, after the judging…too bad.
Not that I had a chance of winning, but at least it coulda been in the pictures!

Is there any reason you can’t post the pics of your Sherman here for us Brian … HHHMMMM.

Just a pure lack of technical acuity! And digital photos.
HOWEVER, I did just have a bunch of stuff photographed digitally (including the EZ8) and shall post pix like a banshee in the very near future!
By the way, where’s the best place to get hosted? I know a coupla fine forum members here are hosting, but I forgot who…I’ll investigate.

E-mail Moses … he’ll take care of you.

REALLY nice work. You hang out with a neat bunch of modellers, Brian.
