Dealings with Wespe Models out of Romania?

Hi Gang:

While researching another project I came across a really nice build of a 1/35 Skoda and fell in love with this ugly son-of-a-B.

I found Wespe Models out of Romania offers a resin kit. Any feed back on the company? Any local distributors or even another option of the Skoda in 1/35?

I couldn’t find them carried by anyone I do business with…including several in the EU!

I think www.michtoy.com carries some Wespe goods. However, it may be because Wespe has been a vendor at the AMPS International Show for two years and Michtoy was there as well (lots of vendors buy/trade/deliver goods to one another at our show).

That being said, Wespe is legitimate enough to travel from Romania to the USA just to vend at an armor show-- I think that shows something…

That being said, I’ve never looked at any of their wares close up. Can’t beat them for variety of interesting subjects, though.

I bought a 1/25 US 2 1/2 ton from them at the 2007 IPMS Nats, it is very good quality resin. I bought it direct from them in the dealer room, so I don’t know how they are to deal with online, but I’m very happy with the quality of the kit.
