Deadly "Dora" nearly done!

Hi all,

I was home with a cold the last couple of days and put the time to good use working on my Tamiya 1/72 Fw 190D-9 build. It’s built from the box with EagleCal decals. The canopy has to go on and have the radio antenna attached and she’ll be done. I’ll get to that tomorrow and post some glamour pics soon after.

Hope you like it!

Happy modeling!

Yaaa, it would be a might breasy in the cockpit right now, but it is still and outstanding model. Great build.

Thanks yardbird78…it sure would be noisy as well! Glad you like it so far.

Joe

Coming along nicely, Joe !
You really kick out these little birds !

Thanks Pix…I have been trying to keep up with you! [(-D] Lots of time off lately has allowed me to really spend some time in the “workshop” but that will probably slow down a bit as the weather warms up and I get back to outdoor activities during days off. My wife is busy in a Master’s program so she does not nag me about being occupied either…thank goodness!

Joe

Looks nice, guy. Good choice in markings too…

Joe, that is a deadly looking Dora, with or without hood!

Can’t wait to see it finished.

Karl

Thanks Steve O and Karl! Steve, I wanted to do an early build Dora with the flat canopy and these markings worked with that plus the red/brown codes were kind of unusual I thought. Glad you guys liked it.

Joe

Looking really good joe. Great wotk on the paint job.

Regards, Rick

Thanks Rick…I just finished it up today…will post some glamour shots a little later.

Joe

Great work Joe. You always amaze me on what can be done to those braile scale kits.

Thanks much Swanny…she’s done now…check out the glamour pic thread![:)]
