Dayglo Paint for Avro Arrow?

I know I’ve seen this discussion on the forums before, but a search hasn’t turned up anything for me. Can anyone tell me the proper colour to use to paint the dayglo paint scheme on an Arrow?

The box (Hobby Craft 1:72) says to paint it red, but all pictures seem orange… Could this be due to the colour shift of old colour film, or was it really orange? I’ve even seen kits with the nose orange, and the tail red???

I hope you aren’t sick of answering this…Well, if you are can you just point me to the correct forum?, lol

I have a picture in a book that makes me say orange for sure, you can see the diffence between it and the red on the flag on the tail

Ah-ha, Thats good to know… Now to determine which orange. hehe
