Dambusters! 617 squadron Lancaster Bomber (x-post to RAF group build)

I’ve been working on this for the past year, as a part of the RAF group build. I completed it yesterday, short of some weathering on the Dam itself.

It depicts the bombing run on the Möhne Dam in the Ruhr valley of Germany, 1943. It was pointed out to me that this year is the 75th anniversary of the raid.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I had a blast (pun intended) building this! I’m sure my family and friends were tired of hearing about the Dambusters raid during the course of this build! Lol!
