I make alot of police vehicles. 1/24 and 1/18 scale. I am trying to find someone to make custom decals. I want a couple Iowa Sherrif department in both scales and I also want Des Moines Iowa Police department in both scales. Does anyone out there know where someone can get custom made decals made up and it not cost an arm and a leg.
I started custom painting police cars in 1/24 & 1/18. My first project was the toughest. The old green and black nypd. With few pictures to go by,I was forced into making my own decals. What I thought was once a pro only’s task became possibe with a little research. No expensive programs to buy, and you don’t even need a printer, since Kinko’s will print the decals for you for penny’s. All you need is a quailty straight photo of the car’s graphics crop re size and you have your own decals. Check out badge764’s videos on youtube. The guy is an ex-cop super nice guy, and will walk u through. Good Luck
Try Joe at “Diecast and Decals”. He is very reasonable, and does great work. There is also a gentleman named Bill from Bilbozo decals. He makes several agencies already. If he doesn’t have what you are looking for, he does custom as well I believe. He is limited to only light colored cars though. Hope these suggestions work out for you.

What do you mean you make police vehicles? I custom paint and decal my own. I buy the vehicles, parts, paint as needed, and design my decals from scratch or photos. How do you do yours?
