I am building two vinatge police cars 1/24 & 1/18, and need to find something that resembles the old Pulsator roof mounted sirens from the late 60’s.
See http://www.policeny.com/lightssiren1html
Thanks

This is the siren I am trying to make/find: Federal P660
Just an off the wall idea. The NATO 9mm round used in our pistols has about that shape. The round with the casing will probably be too big but the bullet itself may be about right.

Not sure how the size will match up but if you go to a gun store or something you may find one that is the right size and shape. Not to mention the bullet is a pretty soft metal and could be worked with to drill holes in the end for the mesh or to form the shapes on the side.
Just an idea, not sure how good it is but I suppose it is worth a try.

Some gun shops make their own ammo. Or atleast they sell the stuff to do it yourself. You Or you can just buy the built ammo and take it apart. A pair of pliers does the trick when I do it to 5.56 rounds. May scar the soft metal though. But when you do get it apart you ahve some gun powder to play with haha
