Correct missile colors

I’ve searched this site and haven’t found any relevant topics. Also, of course went on line to check and became more confused. I’m building an F-15C, ‘86 model from Egin AFB 33rd TFW. Does anyone know if the bodies of the AIM 7 and 9s are the light ghost gray or dark? Honestly I’ve seen some 9s in white also, but not many. Really looking for the correct gray. I know the fins are a metal type of color, not worried so much about that. Thanks all. Ted.

yes, in the early '80s, the main body color was changed from white to light ghost gray. Fins were often a dark color, and radome off white. Striping was brown for a live rocket motor and yellow for a live warhead. Blue stripes denote an inert warhead or motor or both for training rounds.
