Hi
Is anyone familiar with a compressor manufactured by the WR Brown company, which was based in Chicago. The type and model is an Intermatic Air, model PC201.
I have one of these from long long ago, and I thought that it might still be a usable air supply for air brushing, but I am a little confused as the documentation states the following
“It is designed to deliver 0.5cfm of compressed air at 10psi spraying pressure and delivers up to 40psi pressure for inflating tires etc”. Two things concern me with this statement, the 1st being 10psi spraying pressure, this is because all the articles I have read over the last few days, indicate that the pressure for spraying has been in the the region of 20psi and sometimes up to 40psi. The 2nd being that 10psi for spraying and upto 40psi for tires. It is a single pump with a single outlet so how can they claim it can supply two different pressures.
I realise I am asking a lot of you all but if any of you could shed some light on this I would appreciate it as I cannot get my head around one pump, two different pressures, and only the one outlet.
I have googled WR Brown company without any success, so I cannot contact them direct.
Regards
David
