Nice work Tosh. I need to drag my Turkey out one of these days.
Thank you sir. What scale and kit brand?
Your Friend, Toshi
I have the 1/48 Accurate Minitures kit with George Bush’s markings in my stash. It’s supposed to be a fine kit. One of these days…
Sounds like a great project!

I used the Tamiya Weatherine kit on the engine then brushed some Vallejo black on it to give it a dirty oily look to it.
Here’s some Eduard PE for the engine. This came with an addition to the kit. Please note in that the Eduardo PE was an after market addition by the seller.

As for the Tamiya Weatherine kit, I do not allow young Ezra to help me weather things with it. The extra powder is not good for him. Still, he does help assemble and paint with Vallejo paints.

What wonderful and fond memories you’re making with Ezra. I hope the models you are working on together survive his growing up ,unlike mine that are lost to the ages
It‘s a great blessing from God that we get to build things together. Yes, the kits we build gets hung on the wall of planes. I‘ll make them survive. Lol! Thank you Uncle Jay Jay for always supporting our threads. You make the journey in life that much more exciting!

To my fellow forum members,
Master Ezra, as Eagle90 calls him, lol! Is at his mom‘s house. Mrs.Toshi and I will pick up Master Ezra on Saturday evening so that we can be ready to go on an hour and a half drive to Ashtabula, Ohio. This is where Mrs. Toshi’s older sister and brother in-law lives. It’s very rural and is literally the country side. It’ll be a change of scenery for all of us.
This is where Aunty Karen (Mrs. Toshi’s older sister) lives, she has several acres of forested land and a pond stocked with fish. Master Ezra will be exploring the forest and will also go fishing with a “Spider Man” open fishing rod with a 101 piece tackle box all purchased at Walmart. Lol! You gotta love Wally World as Mrs. Toshi calls it.
Until then, I’ll be slowly working on the TBF Avenger. Here below I have the pilots main chair with the PE seat belts. Next up is assembling the cockpit, there’s a huge amount of small parts but if I go over everything in respect, I should be able to get this done. Thank you, all of you for following and supporting my threads.

Here is some work done to keep me busy. I’m waiting for Master Ezra to be picked up Saturday night. I’ll then have him build part of the Avenger. This should be fun.

Here I have a partial build of the interior. The items used were MM Green Zinc Chromate, Vallejo Model Wash #512, and Tamiya Weathering Master F. Titanium/Light Gun Metal/Copper.

Looking good Toshi. This makes me want to pull my Avenger off the shelf and start it.
