I’ve been head-down at work but found the time to make some progress on my Spitfire line.

Below is the 72nd scale CMR Seafire III. OOB but I was successful with two new skills: using Future/Clear as a decal setting solution and weathering. I may have been a bit heavy on the weathering but I like the outcome.

Second is the 72nd Hasegawa Spitfire Ia. I started this kit in the '90s and after 3 moves finally finished it. I had to steal the spinner/prop from a second Hasegawa kit as well as use some spare decals. The kit decals were off register, wrong color and too small. It’s spot on in shape/measurements save for one fatal flaw: no gull wing! Otherwise a sweet little kit.

I’m slowly working on every Mark of the Spitfire/Seafire line. I’ve collected all the necessary kits/conversions necessary to do it. Not doing any one-off Marks, such as the Mk III Spitfire or Mk XX. I’ve completed:
