Completed King Tiger NEW Improved Pics!

Well here’s a completed build for the first time in awhile. It’s Tamiya’s Ardennes King Tiger, with Aber tool clamps and clasps, aswell as Aber engine deck grilles. Weathered with a mix of Bragdon pigments, and MIG’s as well as the Airbrush. This is the base for it, but the tank isn’t fitted to it! Comments, critiques all welcome. I don’t know the quality of the pics, so let me know!

Hope these pics are better for ya!

James, you’re killing me with all this German stuff. LOL. Hey, I like the camo, nicely done. The pics are a bit blurry. I’ve never seen the numbers on both sides of the cross before, but I trust your refs. Hey keep the German stuff coming!

She’s a beauty, James. The weathering is subtle but I like it.

Looking really good man. Pics are a little fuzzy, I would love to see this bad boy re shot in clear detail.

great build James. Ambush scheme is impressive.

Steve

I like the mud effect on the fenders/front end. Not over done. Great job!

Russ

Great job but the out of focus pictures hide some of the great detail.

thanks for the comments guys! I hear ya on the pics, thanks for pointing them out. This internet connection is super slow so I couldn’t be bothered with trying to see how they turned out! Anyway, I guess i shouldn’t have fooled with the camera’s settings, but I’ll get them back to normal and take some betters shots! Thanks for looking guys, much appreciated!

She’s a beauty James. Superb paint job with the ambush scheme.

heya james[:D]-- she looks to be a real beauty, but alas, I also wish the pics were a little clearer-- you do great work,man-- show it off as well as possible!![:D]-- ambush is awsome!!— tread[8D]

Love it, love it!!! Nice paint and good weathering!

…and “hurrah” to puttin’ some earth down on that laquered plaque! Sets up the display perfectly!

Getting tired of building IDF stuff? Dude, it looks great. Love the camo paint on it. How you doing bro?

To echo whats been said James the camo is wonderful and nicely weathered i too wish for clearer pics but these are good enough to show that is is a great looking KT.

Ron.

Ditto on the better pics comments. Looks like a nice build.

i like the wet look on the lower hull and wheels james. what did you use to get the effects? future?

Much nicer pics James they do the model the justice it deserves that is a very nice paintjob.

Ron.

Thanks guys! Rooster, the mud is two part 30 min epoxy mixed with some sand and Russian Earth Mig Pigment. Brushed on liberally on the inside, that’s it! Thanks again guys!

Thanks James, the pics are much more flattering to your work. Keep up the German armor, you may have found your calling.
