Completed Build: MPC 1:24 Scale Stingray Corvette

First completed build of 2019, and turned our pretty awesome I think.

It helped that when I was taking photographs a beautiful ray of sunshine illuminated my workspace and added a wonderful light to the shoot.

Here is the final completed kit. Next one I do, I’ll do some WIP pics and posts again. The exterior colour I used is Splashpaints Atomic Orange. Top quality product.

The interior:

Hood up and the engine:

(and yes the air filter decal is from a Ford… consider it from the spare parts bin!)

And the awesome undercarriage with the custom exhaust…

Oh, another Corvette model.

Man this looks great and your photography totally rocks!!! Being an MPC kit, how much did this thing fight you in terms of fit? That looks like a big block Vette…454 maybe? I might be able to scrounge up an air cleaner with a 454 decal if you’d like.

I’m trying to figure this response out.

Great paint job, great detailing…very impressive work!

That turned out really well. Love the color and application of that paint. Great looking wheels and tires. That exhaust makes the belly shot shine

My goodnes! you’ve done an excellent job on my favorite car! What year would the car it be?

Well !

It certainly looks like a mean %^^&# Vette to me . Nice paint too ! T.B.

74? Available with the Boss 302 aircleaner [:P]

This is supposed to be a 1975 Vette but GM didn’t stuff 454’s into them in that year. BUT…any big block Vette is a good one in my book.
