Color Paint for Darth Vader Tie Fighter???

I am about to paint my Darth Vader Tie Fighter from AMT and would to know if anyone knows what color the main hull is? I use, for the most part, Tamiya’s paints.

Any help would be awesome…Thank you.

There used to be the originl “Planet Hollywood” retaurant nearby where I live. When it was open they had many movie props on display, including one of ILM’s original TIE fighter models. That one was painted in a medium blue gray similar to but lighter than RAF Ocean Gray or darker than USAF Dark Ghost Gray. I was very suprised at the blueish shade and the medium shade, as it was noticeably darker than as they appear in the film. I hope this is somewhat helpful.

I used Vallejo’s light grey for my 1/72 kit. I looked at a lot of pics and really some looked liht grey and some had a blueish hue to them. I just went with the grey.
