I am building this aircraft, and I am surprised to learn that the underside is “white”?

Looking at a million images, and seeing in person many of Korean Air’s beautiful blue aircraft. But the underside always looks to me as a light gray with a brown hue, like Tamiya Light Gray…

So is the underside and engines really “white”?

Great livery and nice plane choice! Ive got a few in the stash that need to be built. The underside on some pix looks like it could be white, but the engines dont seem to look very white. Ill check out some more pix and post.

Thanks… I am going to try an Ivory White, and see how that looks…

Hi Chris,

You may wish to look at FS36622 which is about as pale a grey as you’re likely to find. Being a “3”, it’s a flat colour but Gunze’s Mr Color version (#311) is a semi-gloss.
