I am making a diorama with a cobblestone street in Berlin in 1945 from Verlinden. I have primed in light gray. What color do you recommend for a base color ( shade of gray?) and what color for a wash to accent lower areas and for a dry brush to pick out raised detail?

I’ve never worked on cobblestone myself but it would seem that there would be some variety of colors from different stones, areas, and wear and tear.

colors a plenty. after all, weren’t there some 50 shades of grey at least?
