Marc,what club is this? the IPMS in Garwood? I have been thinking about heading up there and maybe sitting in on a meeting if thats allowed. Then prob. joining. Are the guys cool? let me know I would like to join a local club to learn more and make new friends…

John… yup that’s the club. Great bunch of guys… lots of very experinced moldelers always willing to help. Our meeting was just this past Friday so you will have to wait until June but we would love to have you. And yes you can absolutely visit and join later if you want.

This kit is second on my birthday list after reading great reviews from the magazine and the experts in the forums lately. I worry if my wife will be able to buy the right kit at a local hobby store. But I will print it in color along with instructions for her if it helps. [:)] An air compressor is first on the list…
I am not sure if I will ever show up at a local club meeting… I believe there is one or two clubs here in Indianapolis. It will be interesting to find out how they will react when they see a deaf man with a notepad and a pen…
