Would there be interest in a CAS group build? There hasn’t been one of these for a while and was wondering if there would be some interest. Range of aircraft goes from the kites of WWI to the jets of today. Strategic bombers are out, unless you’re building a current B-1 with the appropriate pods for precision guided munitions. Fighter versions of aircraft aren’t allowed, but load her up with bombs/and or rockets and she’s good to go. Dedicated attack aircraft definitely allowed. Attack helos definitely allowed. Gunships also. A couple of lists to go by.

If there’s enough interest, figure a start date in January.

Aha in looking through the stash. The 48th Hasegawa Tiffie caught my eye. Can’t get more CAS then that
Never finished a group build on time yet, but it sounds good to me!
I’ll give it a go. Been looking for an excuse to build that 1/32 Trumpeter A-10

I’ve heard good things about the Zvezda Hind in 1/72. Don’t know about the other scales.

Would the Tiffie be prop or jet? Don’t believe I’ve seen a modern Tiffie loaded with big things that go boom.

I just picked up some A-10s last week and might have a few Apache helicopters if those are allowed.

Sure, I have a couple 1/72 kits near the top that would fit the GB.
Buddy, I’d probably be in with an Hs-129.
I almost said that. I’ve got 3 Hasegawa in the stash. One is the B-3 with the 75mm
Wish I had a frogfoot to throw in…maybe I will aquire one during the terms of the GB.
